Announcement of Primaria Marie-Kathrin Breyer
It’s official: As of January 1, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Marie-Kathrin Breyer MD has been appointed head of the Department of Respiratory and Pulmonary Diseases at the Penzing Clinic in Vienna! We congratulate her most sincerely!
Her previous professional experience includes her work as deputy director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Lung Health, as well as supervising medical students at Sigmund Freud University and the Medical University of Vienna in the preparation of their master’s and diploma theses. She is a specialist in internal medicine, pneumology and intensive care medicine. She is also a founding member as well as the scientific director of the LEAD study, Vienna’s largest lung health study.
