The Vienna Business Run took place on 22^nd of September 2022. The 4.1-kilometre route of the largest company run in Europe has not changed. The runners started in blocks on Meiereistraße in front of the Ernst Happel Stadium in the direction of Prater Hauptallee. There the runners crossed the avenue and followed the Stadionalle and then the Lusthausstraße to the Prater Hauptallee, where they ran the last part of the course back to the stadium. In the last few metres, the athletes ran through the Ernst Happel Stadium and finished with a sprint along the outer wall.

After about 12 minutes the first athletes arrived at the finish line. The fastest athletes covered the distance in about 20 km/h. A total of 21,114 runners took part in the race.

This year, out of a total of 5,706 teams, two teams from the LBI for Lung Health also took part. With the title “Peak-Flow”, Caspar Schiffers, Michael Sturm and Stefan Forstenlechner took 122^nd place in the team classification. The “Leadrunner” team, consisting of Betül Senozan, Melanie Schedlberger and Julia Bamer, placed 1,372^nd.
