The Austrian Society of Pneumology annually awards the ERS Travel Grant for young clinically and research active pneumologists. Scientific papers that have already been accepted by the Congress of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) can be submitted for this grant.

We are very pleased that our PhD student Alina Ofenheimer, MD, has won this year’s ERS Travel Grant with her abstract “The longitudinal impact of body compartments on lung function in children, adolescents, and adults”, which was based on data from the LEAD study. The annual congress of the ERS will take place this year from 4^th to 6^th of September 2022 in Barcelona and virtually. Alina Ofenheimer, MD, will present her abstract there (04^th of September, 08:15 till 09:30). Congratulations and good luck in Barcelona!
