Around 600,000 people in Austria live with diabetes. In many cases, the chronic metabolic disease could be prevented by preventive measures. As part of the Austrian LEAD Study, the largest health study in Austria, scientists at the LBI for Lung Health have now investigated the incidence of prediabetes in study participants.
